Johnston Partnership Green Days Food Pantry Sculpture Contest
2026 Theme: Fruit- Full Giving
How to Participate:
REGISTER below by July 17
COLLECT and/ or purchase food or personal items for your sculpture. Please ensure food items are non perishable (please view the food pantry’s most needed items below). If you would like to participate in building, but are not able to provide materials OR if you would like to donate materials, but do not wish to build, please let us know and we will match you up!
BUILD- Signs & supporting materials can make up 50% of the sculpture. The theme this year is Fruit-Full Giving- so designs should be fruit forward. We encourage you to interpret this however you want, be creative! Note: The Johnston Public Library will be available for building and display this year.
SUBMIT a photo of your completed sculpture, location and public viewing hours by August 17th. Sculptures will be featured on Johnston Partnership social media, website and in our August Newsletter.
DISPLAY your sculpture for public viewing from August 17-30
WINNERS will be announced on August 31. Winners will receive a special, in depth feature on social media, in the September newsletter and highlighted on our website for the remainder of 2026!
DONATE- all food & personal items used in sculptures will be picked up the week of August 31 and distributed to local families via the Johnston partnership food pantry. Please have items boxed and ready for transport.
